People have grown orchids for a great number of years. They grow orchids for show, for science, or for food (for example, vanilla).
Some orchids have very special ways of pollination. For example, the Lady's Slipper can trap insects and make them pollinate the flower. Another instance is the Austrian orchid, which grows underground and is pollinated by ants.

Photography is my passion. The ability to capture a moment in time and record it for time immemorial has always fasinated me. To be able to share those moments with others is the next most rewarding thing. I want my images to evoke emotion, similar to what one feels when listening to good music. I continue the development of my skills and knowledge, in hopes of being the photographer I was intended to be. My hope is that what I see through my lens will bring you joy and pleasure.
