Description
Living near Los Angeles and Hollywood has its advantages and disadvantages. The weather being on top of the list of advantages. As a kid living in the midwest, I was always fascinated by movies, the actors, how they were made etc. In my early years of living in the area I would visit Hollywood often, to hopefully see the movie stars, visit the locations they would visit . After so many years of doing this, the "bloom was off the rose", and my interest went to other things. Recently, I decided to visit my old "stomping grounds", in Hollywood but this time with my camera. I wanted to record some of the iconic locations, for posterior sake.
Grauman's Chinese Theatre is a movie palace on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, United States. Originally known as Grauman's Chinese Theatre, it was renamed Mann's Chinese Theatre in 1973; the name lasted until 2001, after which it reverted to its original name. On January 11, 2013, Chinese electronics manufacturer TCL Corporation purchased the facility's naming rights, under which it is officially known as TCL Chinese Theatre
