To my pleasant surprise, while driving to San Pedro California to visit the SS Lane Victory, a WW2 cargo ship, now a museum dock in San Pedro waters. Right next to it they were setting up the big blue and yellow circus tents, easily recognized as Cirque du Soleil.
Cirque du Soleil "Circus of the Sun" or "Sun Circus") is a Canadian entertainment company. It is the largest theatrical producer in the world. Based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and located in the inner-city area of Saint-Michel, it was founded in Baie-Saint-Paul on 7 July 1984, by two former street performers, Guy Laliberté and Gilles Ste-Croix.
