“The Rock” - Alcatraz Island near San Francisco - has had a special place in the American imagination since the golden age of gangsters. When the three-story cellhouse was completed in 1912 it was the world’s largest steel-reinforced concrete structure. It stands to this day.
Photography is my passion. The ability to capture a moment in time and record it for time immemorial has always fasinated me. To be able to share those moments with others is the next most rewarding thing. I want my images to evoke emotion, similar to what one feels when listening to good music.
