On a trip to Saigon Vietnam, now called Ho Chi Minh City, one of the tour stops was Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica. Until Then, the only Notre Dame I knew was the football team. It especially peaked my curiosity knowing that i was in a communist county. After learning the history and how the French had formally occupied the country, It made sense. That they maintained the cathedral in such pristine condition (probably because of tourism) made for a photo op.
Photography is my passion. The ability to capture a moment in time and record it for time immemorial has always fasinated me. To be able to share those moments with others is the next most rewarding thing. I want my images to evoke emotion, similar to what one feels when listening to good music. I continue the development of my skills and knowledge, in hopes of being the photographer I was intended to be. My hope is that what I see through my lens will bring you joy and pleasure.
