For me photography is a mix of competing ideals and intent. My images are a study of explortion and creative pursuit, that will, hopefully, provide joy, passion and healing. Just doing it (photography) tends to be the best mentor for me, not excluding the the many books and articles, videos I've injested to get to where I find myself presently. I'd be lying if I didn't admit that part of my pay-off is the validation that comes with pleasing the viewer. The other part of the pay-off is to be able to share, my experiences, locations and memories with others who may not ever get the opportunity to do so.
